INSTALLATION
1) Install ball joint onto housing.
Torque (Bolt):
49±10 N·m (5.0±1.0 kg-m, 36±7 ft-lb)
CAUTION:
Do not apply grease to tapered portion of ball
stud.
2) Connect ball joint to transverse link.
Torque (Castle nut):
39 N·m (4.0 kg-m, 29 ft-lb)
3) Retighten castle nut further within 60° until a
slot in castle nut is aligned with the hole of ball stud
end, then insert new cotter pin and bend it around
castle nut.
The lower price does not include seats or whitewall tires.
Under the engine where the lower radiator hose connects.
The 2001 Honda Accord lower ball joint torque specification is 90 pounds. The lower ball joint should be torqued in 45 pound intervals.
Subaru 2.5 thermostat's are bass ackwards...follow the lower radiator hose to the block...there ya go...
Like all cars the Subaru Outback uses many fuses. There is one fuse block located behind a door in the lower part of the dashboard. Another is in the engine compartment near the battery.
If you have a 2.5 liter engine it is located where the lower radiator hose meets the engine.
inside the thermostat housing where the lower radiator hose connects to the engine block.
What year is the oldsmobile?, and do you need the torque setting for the nut?.
They put that darned thing under the engine. It is where the lower radiator hose connects to the engine.
It is on the underside of the engine. Look for where the large lower hose connects to the engine.
You could put it in N out of D an the rpms will lower.
Cooling system thermostat is at the bottom of the engine. Look for the lower radiator hose and trace it back to where it attaches to the engine block. Bingo!
