Should be 60 psi at 2000 rpm for the 2.2 liter(2184.11).My books show this up to the 1989 engine and do have a manual that covers up to 1993 and those specs are not available for some reason. The 2200 should be the same overall up to your year model unless the internals are different and I am not aware of.Most part stores may have the specs on a oil pressure switch for it,call napa, autozone, etc to see if it is available to answer this.
the pressure of oil that the oil pump is pulling?
The attached links should answer you're question. Kyrasis6 Mazdatruckin.com
Bad oil pump, low on oil, bad oil sensor All motors oil pressure drops at idle speed Just be sure it's not in the too low range
Incorrect filter, defective filter, weak oil pump, clogged oil pump strainer, clogged oil galleys, worn engine bearings, defective oil pressure gage, or defective oil pressure sending unit.
either your oil pump screen is clogged or you need a new pump
no, however the fuel pump has a secondary route through the oil pressure switch. If the fuel pump relay goes out the pump will run through the oil pressure switch after the engine gets oil pressure. this results in extended engine cranking time before the engine will start
Low oil pressure or fluctuating oil pressure.
The oil pressure is dropping at this time. A clogged oil filter, clogged oil pump screen or failing oil pump can be the cause.
It is built into the oil pump/ Part of the oil pump.
Loss of oil pressure.
If you have oil pressure it is working.
Zero oil pressure.
