When an ABS light comes on, the ABS function of your brake system is disabled. Once this has happened, you cars brake system is reverted back to a regular brake system.

In most cases, an ABS light being on means there is no communication from the wheel speed sensor to your Brake Control Module (B.C.M.).

You could drive the vehicle in this condition as long as the Brakes and Bearings are within drivability condition.

How do you locate the neutral safety switch on your 1994 Nissan maxima?

I've got a '97 Maxima...I believe it's the switch facing the front of the vehicle, essentially on the side of the tranny. It's got three wires going into it. It should be the only thing with wires on the tranny.

What is the difference between a Nissan Maxima and a Nissan Maxima GLE?

Depending on the year, I'm going to assume 4th gen '95-'99. The GLE should have a chrome grille and a standard Bose speaker system. The GLE should come with an automatic 4-speed, while the SE a manual 5-speed. The SE will also have a body color grille and Bose speakers optional. Depending on the year, engine specs will vary, but most body and accesories will be the same.

Replace the battery, yours is likely old and weak, wont hold a charge. I havent had the problem re-occur on my 93 Maxima since i replaced mine. Many electrical weirdness problems can be due to a weak battery.

How do you know when the starter is bad on a Nissan Maxima?

You know when the starter on your nissan maxima is going bad when your car doesnt start/ even when someone gives you a boost, all your fuses are fine, and none of them are NOT blown. You know its your starter and NOT alernator when you take another battery from a car thats been driven and their battery is ok and you put it into your car and the car will not start. If its the alternator, then the car would start in that case.
