Okay for those who care to know... ELECTRONICS 101 - All you do is remove the cluster and with the use of an alternate 12 volt power source attach a ground to one of the screws on the rear of the cluster. then go to the base of the digital number bar and if you tap the far right post 10 times the last digit will then change to the next higher number . going towards the left and tapping ten times with the positive lead will then change each digit to the next higher number. far right is single miles next over to left is of course tens, next over hundreds, and next being thousands and of course last being 100 thousands. BUT DONT DO IT BECAUSE YOUR NOT ALLOWED TO !!! LOL

Or you can buy the odometer programmer for about $1000 but its cheaper to just send the cluster module in. (not only is it legal to reset the odometer; its required in most states when you replace the engine. The odometer is required to reflect the mileage of the engine *NOT* the vehicle)

not without replacing the dash harness. The cars with digital have a sun load sensor and an ambient temp sensor to determine cabin air temperature. they also use the outside ambient temp sensor which may or may not be installed on your particular maxima.

To reset the maintenance light on the 1998-2000 Accord, you need to have a strong thumb. Just hold the odometer reset peg before you start the car then once it is started you need to keep holding it down for 30 seconds (I think-seems like forever) until the light goes off. Done.
