under the dash very close to the clutch or brake pedal is a bundle of wires directly from the engine ..there are three single connectors two of those are connected at all times when the odometer rich 60000...120000 etc the check engine light kicks on automatic when you switch to the spare connector light goes out automatic//done this task many times...
