If you still are having trouble with this.
Use an impact wrench to remove it.
If you do not own one rent from a auto parts store.
And use RED loctite thread locker when reinstalling.
If all else fails get a good breaker bar and a cheater bar and a crank pulley holding tool from a auto parts store.
Do NOT use a ratchet you will just break your tool and be in deeper dookey!
Good luck!
No. Counter clockwise to loosen. It is very tight.
No, but it is very hard to get loose.
No it is not.
No.
remove 22mm center bolt its regular thread there are 2 threaded holes in pulley you will need the right pulley remover with the right bolts for the pulley you can get this at most parts stores make sure to not mess up crankshaft bolt threads
The crankshaft position sensor is located at the lower left hand side of the crankshaft pulley. The crankshaft pulley is the large pulley located in the center lower portion of the front of the engine.
No. But it's tight.
it is a pulley located on the front end of the crankshaft, ussually at the bottom of the engine.this pulley is the one that drives the accesories and drives the oil pump on some cars.it is held on to the crankshaft by a bolt wich is right hand threaded on most engines.also has a seal and a woodruff key,the seal will keep the oil from leaking and the key so the pulley does not turn around.and it is also called crankshaft pulley.
remove center bolt and use the required puller
NO, IT'S JUST VERY TIGHT.
open the hood the very bottom pulley at the center of the engine bolts to the crankshaft
Not all crankshaft pulley bolts are left hand thread. In my experience if it is a left hand thread the bolt head normally has an L stamped on it to notify the direction of thread
