The 1998 Accord LX is equipped with the 2.3 Liter 150 hp 152 lb/ft of torque inline 4 cylinder or the 3.0 liter 200 hp 195 lb/ft of torque V6. These were the only 2 engines available. The smaller 2.3 liter 135 hp engine was only installed in the DX model. It is easy to tell the 4 cylinder from the V6.
