Does the 2003 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V use a timing belt or chain and around how much does it cost to replace?
I was told that timing belts should be replaced every 60,000
miles. However, when I called the local Nissan dealer for my 2003
Sentra, they told me it does not ever need to be replaced. Then I
read somewhere that apparently Nissan guarantees the timing
belt/chain to last the life time of the engine. I also read that
2003 Sentra has a timing chain, not a belt.
