∙ 12y agoI have a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer, and my mechanic said it should be replaced every 50,000 to 60,000 miles.
Change it every 60,000 miles.
Every 60,000 miles.
The 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer has only a 2.0 liter engine which has a cam belt that should be replaced every 60,000 miles. This is not an interference engine. The 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse has a 2.4 which has a cam belt the MUST be replaced every 60,000 mile and it is an interference engine. I see nowhere that the Lancer was equipped with a 2.4 liter engine.
Every 30,000 miles. Cvt or manual are the same intervals
The Lancer ES has a timing belt that should be changed every 100k miles. I own a Lancer ES myself, and found out the hard way, when the belt on mine broke.
I'm at 247,000 miles on my 2003 Lancer, and still going Strong . I change the oil and filters every 6000 miles, besides that, the only things I've had to replace are the front struts and tires.
The Oz edition was a gimic, the Oz edition was a wheel and trim package added to the standard lancer. The differences between lancer and lancer evolution are so vast, but to cut it down to a couple you would start at the engine. The lancer evolution is a all wheel drive 2.0+L 4-cylinder turbo platform that delivers a performance car that was designed and built for the World Rally championships. The Lancer evolution was just that, a evolution of a platform, running numerically starting with the EVO-1 and in 2010 running into the EVO-10. With every change they tweaked engine performance to keep it competitive with all the other automobile manufacturing companies (Subaru, Toyota, Citroen). The lancer on the other hand is the economy version of the evo..think of it like subaru with has similar vehicals with similar situations. Subaru has a bare bone 4 door sedan( impraza) as dose Mitsubishi (lancer). Both have a sport version of that bare bone model Subaru (Impraza WRX) and Mitsubishi (lancer EVO). They also both have flagship packages of these sport versions Subaru (Impraza WRX STI) and Mitsubishi (Lancer EVO MR). The lancer OZ was a gimic it was a face lift to its lancer, by adding wheels and small facial changes they where able to throw anouther model on the market before the real EVO came to the united states with the EVO 8( before then the EVO was a gray market car and was illegal in the USA). i have a lancer 2004 and my mechanic recommends I change it every 6 months and that timeframe makes sense if you want to keep the life of the transmissions longer because CVT transmissions in Lancers are sometimes troublesome if you dont maintain it
It needs to get replaced when it starts to get old or not work properly. Make sure to check it every few months to see if it looks good.
Check consumer reports, edmunds.com, or other locations for a more specific answer. I would purchase the Scion over a Mitsubishi, the Scion is a Toyota product. Really you cant go wrong with a Toyota. ANSWER: Every other car on the market today
every meter equals one thousandth of the kilometer (1/1000 of one kilometer)
