It is screwed into the cooling system located very near the distributor (single wire leading into it). MAKE CERTAIN THE ENGINE IS COOL AND THE RADIATOR CAP HAS BEEN OPENED TO RELIEVE PRESSURE! Remove the wire lead - unscrew the old sensor - replace with new one. (Note: There will be some coolant loss - be prepared to make the swap quickly.) Make sure you use sealant on the the threads of the new unit.
