∙ 16y agoIf it is just the passanger side don't bother with the fuses. the wiring does go thru the drivers side and then to the passanger side. Use a voltmeter at the passenger power window motor. If you get 12V to the motor it is probably bad. If you don't have 12V at the motor the wiring to it is probably bad. Make sure you didn't accidently turn off the passenger window switch at the drivers side door.

∙ 16y agoThere is only one fuse for all power windows. If only the passenger side window does not work, the problem is either with the passenger window switch or the motor on that window.
The windows use a switch which is in the door.
If it is electric windows it is the motor which needs replacing or it could be the regulator
Are you sure you haven't hit the window lock on the drivers master swithc?
the window motor is bad. order a motor . then have it replaced. easy to do your self. former Toyota tech.I would try replacing the switch that controls the problem window first. I had the same problem with the front passenger window of a 1999 Corolla. I thought it was the motor at first but when i put the switch from the rear window on it, it came up just fine. I don't know why, but it also effects the driver's control panel.
I would replace the master window switch
The rear side window in a 1998 Toyota Avalon can jam if there is a problem in the window motors or the switches. A faulty switch may not complete the circuit needed to operate the window.
Is there a separate fuse for every electric window in the 1999 landcruiser and if there is where are they.
Identify the fault/problem. Repair or replace
Check the fuse box for blown fuses.
It is pressure-fitted into a rubber gasket and held by a flexible mastic substance.
Make sure the window lock button is not ON. Simple, I know. But I dissected the passenger door before I figured this out.
