The Mazda3 does not have a timing belt. Mazda has done away with timing belts in favour of timing chains which are designed to last the life of the engine
The 1.8 litre four cylinder engine in a 1995 Mazda Miata has a timing BELT
yes its a timing belt if its the 2.0 L fs engine
This Mazda engine uses a chain.
Yes , it has a timing belt and it is not an interference engine
The timing mark for the Mazda 626 is in front of the engine. The marks for it belt are on the belt itself. The time for this can be set with a timing gun. A mechanic can set this for you.
timing BELT
On a 1994 Mazda MX-6 : Both the 2.0 liter four cylinder engine and the 2.5 liter V6 engine have a timing BELT
The 2.5 litre V6 engine in a 2000 Mazda MPV has timing CHAINS
No. Mazda Miatas run a non-interference engine.
timing BELT ( according to Gates , they make timing belts etc. - it is also an interference engine )
I researched this as I own a Mazda Protege with a 2.0 DOCH engine. I found a file that list all interference engines and timing belt requirements. The Mazda 2.0 L is listed as a interfrence engine with a timing belt change listed at 105,000. I just changed my timing belt at 121,000. File that list engine can be found if you google (power grip interference engine)
