1. Pull the Drive shaft
2. Pull the transmission.
3. Mark the location of the flywheel as it is on the mainshaft ( paint mark or nail polish ) for re-installation later.
4. Use the correct tools and remove it.
And before you put it back together, now is the time to think clutch,(pressure plate and or friction disk) throw out bearing, pilot bushing, front or rear tranny seals, rear main oil seal and or freeze plugs. These are all components are easily accessible while the drive line is on the ground.
