I bought a used 2007 Outlander XLS. I have been having the hardest time setting up the bluetooth. When I turned it on, the first thing it ask me is to say the "password"!! I can never get beyond that. I tried every command but failed. I never set up any password on it, so I am assuming the previous owner had set one up. O dont know how to reset the bluetooth system, I read the manual but nothing in there. I've had this car for almost 2 years now and still can not use the voice activate bluetooth. Somebody please help me
Answer 1: I have used several different phones, even some not listed on the official site, and most will work great. Answer 2: Applies to 2007 Outlander XLS: Motorola RIZR is not fully compatible. It needs to be manually connected each time, and other registered Bluetooth phones will supersede it regardless of how how it is set up. I have been very successful with several Blackberrys, Siemens (Euro crosstype) phones, Motorola RAZR, Motorola SLVR, HTC Dash/Excalibur, and New HTC G1 (T-Mobile Google Phone).

You can only do so when the other party's mobile has his/her bluetooth turned on and set to Visible. Then you can go to your bluetooth to scan for nearby devices. Note that Bluetooth has only a range of 10m radius.
No it won't. The iPod Touch will not recognize the Xbox 360 head set as Bluetooth. The xbox 360 Bluetooth is strictly for the Xbox 360 only.
Verizon Wireless does not offer free bluetooth software, but a bluetooth headset is available for purchase via the online Verizon Wireless store. Software should come included with any bluetooth set that you buy.
