I have a 90 Acura Legend Sedan w/a 2.7 and 229000 Miles. It was Using about a Quart every 2 Weeks. I changed the oil and Put 20 50 W Oil in 2 Oil Changes and added LUCAS OIL STABELIZER, ITS GREAT NOW!

Most use 87 octane but some use 89 or 91 octane. The correct grade is listed in your owners manual.
I had the same problem, try running a bottle of Lucas oil fuel cleaner through your gas tank, also, changing your fuel filter.
Check the 91 Legend for a bad knock sensor. Check the timing for proper setting, and check for any vacuum leaks.
