This answer applies to the Highlander - unknown if this works on other models. On the very bottom lip of the dashboard - just to the left of the steering column there is a pushbutton. After making sure you have inflated ALL your tires (including the spare) to the proper pressure - turn the ignition on and depress this button for about 5-10 seconds. If the tires are properly inflated this should extinguish the tire pressure warning light.
If this doesn't work and you are certain that all tires are inflated to recommended pressure, you may have to take it to the dealer to have them clear the computer code from the OBD's memory - it is a while-you-wait procedure.

hi how do i reset tire pressure sensor light on
There is a reset button underneath the dash just right of the hood latch. Pressing and holding will turn it off. Then let go of button and press it again and tire pressure light will flash 3 times and then reset.
You have to hold the tire pressure button down until the light starts flashing, after 5 seconds press the button again( do not hold it). This will reset the system, and recalibrate it to the new tires
The light should reset itself after all 5 tires are at the correct pressure. Yes, you have to do the spare tire too. If the light stays on after pressures have been corrected, you need to contact your dealer. The light should reset itself after all 5 tires are at the correct pressure.
