I purchased a used Honda and I got the radio code from the Honda dealer's service department.
Honda's maintenance minder says to, "refer to Civic Sedan's owner's manual."

By inserting a 5 digit code into the radio by means of the station preset buttons. If you do not have the code then go to the Honda Owners Link and register your Honda. There you can get the code for free.
I looked in the packet of information given to me when I bought the car and found something called the service history manual. There is a code written in there for the radio that can be entered to reset it.
A code 10 is a Iat sensor. Intake air tempature sensor.

You'll need a code scanner that has that option built in.
Check engine codes on Honda vehicles such as a 1992 Honda Civic have to be manually reset. To do so, remove the ECU fuse located inside the engine bay.
