This is a job best left to the experts with proper tools. Coolant has to be evacuated from the system then, after the work is done, put back in. That requires special pumps to remove humidity from the system and gauges to be sure the correct amount of HCFC (we can't use Freon anymore) is put back in. Unfortunately the labor will probably cost you more than the materials.
