Open the back hatch door. There are two hex head bolts that hold the tail light assembly in place. Remove them. The fender side of the taillight is snapped on. With a little hand force (don't use a screwdriver, it may crack the light or scratch the paint) you should be able to pop the light assembly out.
The back of the assembly has sockets that hold the bulbs, in small print you should see the word "lock" and a direction arrow. Simply turn the socket in the opposite direction and the build should pull out. When replacing it, make sure you don't hand the build directly with your hands because oils from you fingers may shorten the life of the bulb.
