the following instructions are for the 2001 130 model.
first remove the bezel surrounding the air vents (one by the clock) using a very thin flat head screwdriver covered with cloth. just gently pry the sides out.
once removed you will have access to 2 screws on either side of the clock these keep the panel over the clock in place.
once removed the panel (and clock which is attached to the panel) comes out easily.
flip over and you will notice 2 plastic screw inserts on either side of the clock, gently unscrew with small thin screw driver.
bulb and base will come out together, bulb is attached to base with 2 thin wires from bulb. note how this is done as you will have to repeat to attach new bulb.
Hi, the bulb with it´s cover is placed on the back of the clock. To remove the dash you will need a flat screwdriver, when dash is loose beware of the cable to adjust ventilation with. Easiest way to find the bulb is if you unscrew the clock from dash. The cover for the bulb is in the middle on the clock, there you just place a screwdriver and unscrew it ,bulb will be uncovered. In my 1997 CR-V, there is no clock fuse listed on the fuse box. By the way, when my clock lamp (LED?) stopped working intermittently, my UK dealer explained that the clock was a sealed unit and was very expensive to replace. My clock lamp finally failed completely (the clock may be okay ... I cannot tell). I fitted a new cheap clock to the dashboard, using the gap around the factory clock to host the screws. I also eventually bought a new audio unit with a clock display.
A Japanese lamp clock typically uses a special lamp inside the clock to create a soft, warm glow to indicate the time. The lamp is connected to an internal mechanism that controls its brightness to display the time in a subtle way. Users can often customize the brightness levels and colors of the lamp for personal preference.
A Japanese lamp clock is a traditional timekeeping device that combines a lantern or lamp with a clock mechanism. These decorative pieces often feature intricate designs and can function as both a source of light and a clock in traditional Japanese homes.
