ask the mechanic from the Nissan company
If you did not bench bleed the master, you need to do that.
closest to a fan!
The same way you bleed brakes, but use the little bleeder valve on the slave cylinder. The same way you bleed brakes, but use the little bleeder valve on the slave cylinder.
It depends on the type of clutch linkage. If it's mechanical linkage the clutch could be worn and the rod dropped out. If it's a hydraulic clutch, the clutch master or slave cylinder could be worn out.
You must bleed the clutch dampener before bleeding the slave cylinder its that weird curvey steel hose before the slave unter the passangers feet. look arount the side of the dampner for the bleed screw
no adjustment of this clutch only a pedal freeplay adjustment
i do not exactly understand the question. there usually are not problems associated with bleeding the slave cylinder on a 240sx transmission, but i will explain how to do it. locate the slave cylinder on your 240sx under the car on the passenger side of the 240sx. you will need a 10mm open-end wrench to loosen the nut on the slave cylinder. loosen it enough that it spins freely, you do not want to loosen it so much that it comes off. you will need a second person inside the car to pump the clutch. loosen the nut on the slave cylinder, have the person inside the car push in the clutch pedal and hold it down, then tighten the nut on the slave cylinder. repeat this process until there is a steady stream of fluid shooting out of the slave cylinder. then you will need to replace the lost fluid with DOT3 brake fluid in the clutch fluid reservoir under the hood, which is to the top back right of the engine bay.
Probably the through out bearing.
I would suspect that the clutch slave cylinder is bad. Follow the line down from where you added fluid to find the slave cylinder. After replacing the slave unit you will need to bleed the system then it will work fine again. Mark
The most likely case would be that air somehow got into the line. try bleeding the clutch fluid, while making sure that the level in the reservoir does not get low.
a 95 240sx engine is a 2.4 litre KA24DE inline four cylinder. it's a 16 valve DOHC.
