Need a screwdriver or better yet a trim remover. slide the tip between the crank trim disk and the handle. You'll see the c-clip that holds it on. Difficult to get the clip off without it flying on you so be ready to catch it with your other hand. Be patient and take your time so you don't damage the door panel. Use a towel to protect it. I had to do this exact thing last weekend as I had to reconnect the lock mechanism in my passenger door. Total work time from start to finish was about 20 minutes.
