I will list the to do items in order; 1. Diconect tail lights and license plate lite. there should be three plugs to diconnect at the rear of the bed. 2. Then unscrew the three screws that hold the gas filler neck to the the bed. They are located behind the gas tank filler door. 3. Next, there are eight bolts (four on each side) They connect the bed to the frame. I would put some penetrating oil on them because they can be full of mud/rust. 4. After removing the eight bolts get a coulple of frieds to lift the bed off the frame (it is not very heavy, but if want to make it lighter remove the tail gate.
