This is surprisingly simple.
1) Remove the two bolts that hold the bottom part of the seat to the chassis. These are located in each passenger footwell and are usually covered by a black cap. Once removed, pull the bottom part of the seat forward and then remove it from the vehicle.
2) There are three bolts that hold the backrest in STI that look just like the ones you just removed; one on both the left and right sides and one in the middle. Remove those bolts.
3) Lift up on the backrest in order to dislodge the hangers from the top. Now slide the seat out one of the doors paying attention not to catch the seat belts.
4) You're now done, unless you want to remove the sound deadening material which is held in place with numerous plastic fasteners. These are easily removed with a flat head screw driver.
