To remove the driver side cv axle:
place a large flathead screwdriver between the transaxle housing and the axle. Then place a chisel behind the screwdriver. The order will be: transaxle housing, chisel, flat screwdriver, axle.
Then give the chisel a hit or two with a hammer and it should pop out with ease.
I'm not sure about the passenger side axle but I think you may have to take off the pillow block that is bolted to the transaxle which the cv axle sits in.
How do I remove the front rotors so I can replace the CV joints? .... After removing the brake pads and caliper assembly, of course.
The front bearings on an Acura Vigor are pressed on bearings, unless you have access to a press or know of a shop that can do this for you I wouldn't attempt this job.
The 1991 Acura starter is located near the front of the engine, on the left-hand side. You will find the starter near the bottom of the engine.

i had the same problem with oil leaking too, i tried all kind of stop leak. but only "lucas" oil stop leak worked, haven't leaked since. My 92 Vigor had the same issue. It was initially diagnosed as a leaking oil pan gasket. I brought it to Acura and was advised that the leak came from the oil filter adapter assembly seal and not the oil pan gasket. To access this part, the front differential assembly had to come off along with the return hoses.
The thermostat is just under the throttle assembly at the front of the engine. You will need to remove a black plastic shield in order to access it. Is it difficult to remove and replace? Should that job cost $100? Would a failing thermostat cause the radiator to crack,leak and overheat on my 1991 Acura?
The front bumper on a 1991 Acura Integra is held on by several mounting screws. Remove all the screws and gently pull the bumper off the remaining mounting clips.
