Window motor 1995 240sx Nissan.
Had trouble with my drivers side window motor 1995 Nissan 240 sx. Window button broke inside and constantly sent signal to amplifier (a clicking sound could be heard) and eventually burned out the window motor. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver, ratchet set, a very small flat end screwdriver to pry plugs apart a window chock or two and some plastic bags for screws, nuts and bolts and a marker to label bags as to where screws nut and bolts came from.Instructions on how to remove motor: Remove the screw vanity cover inside door handle well, unscrew. Remove door panel plug on top rear of panel. Unscrew three screws bottom of door panel. Unscrew door handle trim (slightly lift door handle for access. Remove door handle trim slowly or it will break. Remove button assembly and hand pull well by lifting up and taping non button side of well high (a metal clip holds the button assembly side in place.) Disconnect button assembly switch plug. Remove handle well and switch assembly. Remove door panel by prying away from front and back of door and then lifting up. Carefully store door panel (it fits in the back seat.) Remove speaker enclosure with speaker attached and disconnect speaker plug (4 screws hold white speaker enclosure to door.) Alternately you can hang speaker enclosure to door with piece of hanger. Depending on where the window is positioned there is one nut on each side of the bottom of window which attaches window to steel rail. There is an access hole for the front most window nut by the motor area. Use a rubber window chock or rubber door stop to keep window from falling when disconnecting window. Disconnect two screws on door which holds regulator slide bar. Remove 4 bolts which hold window motor assembly to door. Disconnect motor plug from line leading from the amplifier (white rectangular box on door.)Motor and regulator will slide through the cutout on the bottom left side of door. The motor is expensive so if you can find one on e-bay you might save a great deal of money. Motor from dealer $300, button assembly $250 amplifier $75. Retrace steps for reassembly. I had to repeat the assembly process a couple of times until I determined that my problem was both a broken window button and a bad motor. I repaired the button with some plastic weld bonding material and a small piece of steel to reinforce the interior of the button. You can't buy just the buttons from the dealer.
Nope, different body styles
Yes. The ka24de motor is used from 95 through 98.not just used from 95 to 98 because i have a 1990 240sx with a ka24de in it
Yes, some '92 240sx' came with the ka24de motor.
I need instructions on how to change the window motor in 1995 Chevy Camaro.
Is a 1995 Nissian 240SX Engine compatible to 1992 Nissian 240SX?
the power window motor is probably bad
they are in the doors. the regulator is what makes it go up and down and is attached to the window motor.
Carefully
Built into the MAF
you must determine weather the switch or window motor is bad and replace.
9 outta 10 times it will be a bad power window motor. I rarely see the window switch go bad.
Its on the passenger side of the motor. Its kinda hard to see and get to but it should be right below or next to the alternator. Try following the positive battery cable.
