To refill the brake fluid for a 1992 Acura, you need to remove the cap on the brake fluid reservoir. Add fluid until the dipstick measures full, or the line on the reservoir that says 'full' is touched by the brake fluid.
Usually thru the dipstick hole!
Next to the brake fluid refill cap.
it probably has a leak...
Take off the old one - Put on the new one - Refill the fluid - Bleed the system - Refill the fluid again.
Um... NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!! If your brake fluid is low your brakes will not have the usual amount of stopping power. You need to stop driving that vehicle and refill the fluid as soon as possible.
have a repair shop flush the system and refill with the proper fluid.
A few reasons. Fluid has a much higher density, and makes it easier to apply more force to the brakes. Fluid is much easier to contain and refill. No special equipment is necessary to fill a brake fluid reservoir.
Do not pump the brakes. You will need to get all of the contaminated fluid out and refill the master cylinder.
The brake light staying on indicates a problem with the brake system, usually low fluid. Check the brake fluid and if it is low, then look for a possible leak in the system or worn brake pads as the fluid had to go down for a reason
you should drain the whole brake system completely.then refill with clean ,fresh, dot approved brake fluid.you will then have to bleed the system, removing all air.
Master cylinder should be located on the firewall at the driver's side
It Is On the driver side (under bonnet) right at the back of the engine next to the brake fluid.
