My Best Advice is to leave it to the professionals, I've installed two. it was a pain in the neck and I always had problems with it, then i had a local shop do one on my accord and havent had any problems with it for two years. if you still want to do it yourself most alarms that you buy you can get instructions for. then its a bunch of wire testing, staring at wiring diagrams, and trying to work under the dash, definitely solder your connections, its the best way to go.
