Probably a problem with emission system - have vehicle scanned at auto part store to determine problem or clear codes

It needs maintenance you can disconnect the negative (-) terminal of the battery and reconnect it to clear any erros in the ECU
To clear the maintenance light; steps to take: With the ignition off, press the trip and reset buttons at the same time and hold, turn ignition on, hold for about ten seconds until it goes out. Dilemma solved.
You get what ever is causing it to be illuminated repaired and then clear the associated codes
With an automobile diagnostic computer, the mechanic will clear it for you, but it will cost you. Not much though.
It is in the fuel pump housing. Add a basic "clear" in line filter for two stage filtration and much simpler routine maintenance.
Codes A12 means you need to Change the Oil/Filter, Rotate the tires, and Replace the air & cabin filter. You clear the code this way.1. Insert the key into the ignition. Press and hold the trip set knob (inside the speedometer) until it reads 0000, and while holding it try to turn the ignition key to acc. DO NOT START the engine. The messege will clear
