yes. both engines are the 4g63. the turbo engines from the 1990-1994 is a 6 bolt 4g63 and the turbo engine from the 1995-1999 is a 7 bolt 4g63.

Yes you can, but if you don't increase your exhaust, intake, and make sure that your rings and pistons can handle the heat. If you don't so all that and then some you will just blow your engine.
i have the exact same problem with my 98 eclipse, alot of people are telling me to check the ground wires on the turn signals, you may wanna check into it. i am, if i figure it out, i will let you know
