When you purchase the new wiper blade the package has detailed instructions on it. Or you can get the parts person who sells you the blade to change it for you. I have changed many blades for customers.
The wiper blade misses the windshield in the middle of the wipe. Is there an adjustment for that ? I have replaced the wiper to no avail.
Actually, I believe you mean the wiper rubber blade. It will state at the back of any good replacement blade on how to change it. Most dealers themselves would do it for you. Let us know if this helps.
The 1993 Honda Accord has the most common hook-end wiper arms. See related link below for installation videos. Lift wiper away from glass. Press button or tab in the area where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook. Pull wiper out of hook. Sometimes you need to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.
The longer blade goes on the driver's side.
There is a tab you pull up on located at the top of the blade. When you pull it up the wiper should be able to slide off the wiper arm pin, replace with a universial blade.
The rear wiper blade for that vehicle is a dealer-only purchase (no aftermarkets available). Ask the dealer for the procedure when you purchase the rear wiper blade.
The 1998 Honda Civic takes 20" drivers side and 19" passenger side replacement windshield wiper blades. (If applicable, the rear wiper blade is 16")

You simply lift it up and tilt the wiper blade up from the arm. Good luck finding a replacement other than the Honda dealer.
The 1996-2000 Honda Civic takes 20" driver side and 18" passenger side replacement windshield wiper blades and if applicable, a 14" rear wiper blade.
