Is it difficult to remove an oil pan for a 1995 mazda miata?
A 1999 Mazda Miata requires 4.0 quarts of oil.
I use 5-W30 in my 1990, and since the 1993 is almost as old, I would recommend the same oil weight.
Standard 4 quarts can be used for an engine oil change.
Miata's tend to tick a little. You can try 5-30 oil at your next oil change but it's unusual for a Miata not to tick a little at start up.

The oil change usually helps quiet the lifter noise. You could replace all 16 hydraulic lifters if it really bothers you. Most Miata owners just live with it. Try 10W/30 oil.
