Take the two screws out holding the clear lens of the backup light. Take the lens and gasket out.
Turn the bulb counterclockwise about a 1/4 turn and pull it out.
If the bulb won't budge, you can try this: Unhook battery. Maybe use some WD-40 or other penetrating spray.
Get some needlenose pliers and break the bulb, then use the pliers to turn and pull it out.
Clean up the broken pieces and make sure to dry the area before putting the new one in.

u take off the speedodomater cover unplug the top and the fog light switch and it pops right out put a new one in and put it back together
The back up light switch is mounted directly to the transmission. When you engage the shifter into reverse, the shifter physically actuates the switch's button, turning the back up lights on. It's a simple, but effective little system.Note: If you're doing a T5 swap or a similar project, the original back up light switch bracket will not adapt to the new transmission. You will need to have one custom fabricated.

remove the bolts from inside the trunk in back of the taillights.
Pull out the light by pulling out the two metal rods holding your headlight in place. Take the headlight out by slightly turning the plastic rings around the back of your light. It should loosen up. When it does, just mess with it a little to pull it out, pull out the bulb and replace! =)
