On The passenger side of the motor between the Firewall and the Throttle body
If your Nissan is '97 or newer, there is a computer mounted below the passenger seat that controls idle speed. Remove the 4 bolts holding the passenger seat, take it out, and use a flat screwdriver to adjust idle speed. make sure the engine is off and adjust only a little at a time until the desired rpm is attained. Be warned, it might affect emmissions test.
Its on a placard under the hood. At least it is on my 97 truck. If not, go to autozone and look at the book.

it is under the air filter,un plug it and take off the air filter bottom.2 screws hold it in.

If it is a 4x4 I found the easy way for me was to remove the torsion bars and cross member, but you will have to measure ride height when you are done.
Depends on wether you like OBD1 or 2. OBD1 is easier to maintain (up to 95). OBD2 is more efficient and enviroment friendly (96/97)
3500 pounds is the official weight straight form the manual for a 4x4. I pull 2k in my 96 4x4 ka24e and while it CAN do it, it's not happy lol
you can't its hydraulic, if the pedal feels weird just try bleeding the clutch system
