Only if the civic is a hatch, sedans have longer hoods. civic hatch and crx hoods are interchangable.
It is probably the hatch latch. Try taking some electrical tape and wraping it around the latch 2 or 3 times.
No not the bumpers.
If you are talking about a simple bolt on matter with an EF crx. the short answer is no. EG hood is wider & longer than the EF crx hood. But with enough money & fabrication work almost anything can be done to a car.
yea
I had a very similar problem on my 1987 Civic sedan. You will need to jack up the front end, remove the flat plate just to the left of center behind the bumper, and with a long screwdriver locate and push up on the latch release. Once the hood pops open and you release the second safety latch, you will need to jerry-rig or replace the cable. Good luck.
my hood release cable broke in my 1986 Honda accord. We had to remove the front bumper, and the metal piece behind that, and we were able to remove the bottom of the hood latch, and now I drive it daily on the interstate held down with an alon wrench in the screw hole, and 2 bungee cords (just in case) never had a problem.
Yes. Just switch the headlight brackets out.(remove the headlight bracket from the CRX headlight/ install the CIVIC headlight bracket on the CRX headlight.
Under the hood, right beside the brake master cylindar. Should be the clutch master cylindar.
The fuel pressure on a 1989 CRX is between 40 and 42 psi. This is a common pressure range for most vehicles.
No. The d16a1 motor will only fit the first generation crx's
