Best Answer

1) Lift the car.

2) Find the oil pan and locate the drain plug. It is a 14mm bolt head. Drain oil.

3) Depending on the year, 2002 and up its easier the replace the filter from the bottom

--- 3 Clips and 5 10mm screws ---

1992 - 2001 its easier to lower the car and remove the filter from the top.

There will be an opening for the oil to drain, but put a rag down to stop it from leaking onto the mount under it.

---Takes a Toyota D1 filter ---

4) Tighten the drain plug to 25ft. lbs

5) Put 5 qts of 5w/30 oil in and your good.
