I took apart my dash to find that the control cable has a broken shield over it. to easly check this your self just above the gas peddle and to the right there is your heater box on the side ov it is a control lever for diferant settings see if you can move it. If your 2000 Lincoln has turn signals that don't work, first check to see if the bulbs are working. Then, see if there is fuse that has blown that affects the turn signals.
