just go with E3 plugs. they may be a little more expensive but they give you more power, burn all the gas so none is wasted which in turn gives you better mileage and less gook
ngk plugs are .31 to .35
The book says to gap them @ 0.32.

A bad spark plug will cause a 1982 Datsun King cab pickup not to fire. A clogged fuel filter will also prevent it from firing.
