I use Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Lubricant LS 75W-90 in my 2003 Honda Crv.
Synthetic 5W30 preferred.

I know Honda says to use 5w20. I was wondering myself about using a heavier oil though, maybe 5w30, or switching to semi-synthetic 0w30....any experts care to comment?
No. It should say the grade in the Manuel (5w20 most likely) or on the oil cap. Synthetic is not mandatory in any engine.

no synthetic, the clutch will slip.
10W-30 is recommended.
Change it every 5,000 miles if you use conventional oil or every 7,500 if you use synthetic oil. Also change the filter at every oil change.
it's in the Honda CRV manual.it says 5w-30.
i know it fits a 2005 honda crv
Yes, use exactly what Honda recommends, and you will have to purchase synthetic oil as they do not make conventional oil in SAE 0W-20 weight.
