it is in the exhaust manifold,or exhaust pipe...
im also need the answer , i got a decat pipe on mine and my sensor is still screwed into it and plugged in but if your decat hasn't got the threded hole for the sensor then i would either drill it and tap and die it or keep it plugged in but tie it up out of the way but if the car starts playing up then you will have to fit it somehow.
Replacing fluids in a car can be tricky the first time around. The freon for a 1992 Honda Civic is put into the suction hose or pipe assembly under the hood.Ê
Drop the header pipe and unbolt the oil pan and drop it.
the 1999 civic was released a year after the 1998 civic and has an "e" in the suffix whereas the 1998 civic has a "d" in the suffix. Also, the 1998 Honda Civic dX shoots flames from it's exhaust pipe. This was deemed "so nineties" by 1999 by the National What is Cool and What is Not (NWCWN) Board of Directors it's in 1999 national caucus. Located in the middle underneath the car. Square looking with ridges. It'll have a pipe on either end connected.
If you open the hood of your Honda Civic, most likely you will locate the oxygen sensor (O2) mounted in the exhaust manifold, above the exhaust pipe flange. On some models the exact location might vary, but you can always find the sensor by following the exhaust manifold and pipe. Depending on the year model of your Honda Civic, you may find a Primary Oxygen Sensor (PHO2) right before the catalytic converter and a Secondary Oxygen Sensor (SHO2) right after the catalytic.
only if you put one there! there should be an exhaust donut there,.
the o2 sensor is in the exaust manifold or down pipe it looks like a sparkplug with wires
The O2 sensor on a Honda Civic is found on the exhaust system. It will be mounted near the catalytic converter. Simply unscrew the sensor from the exhaust pipe and unplug it from the wire harness. Replace with a new unit.
