The Honda Pilot key fob takes a #1616 battery. Start by removing the (often very tight) screw and gently pry the cover off from the key edge to the keyring edge. Pop the transmitter module out by pressing the buttons.

Now, using a wide screwdriver, or thin coin, release both clasps, one under the panic button, and one near the lock button. You'll find the #1616 battery inside here. Replace the battery, reassemble, and test.

The screw is a #0 Phillips, a very odd size. Heat the tip of the screw driver with a lighter or candle. Honda uses a chemical thread locker on the screw. It is hard to remove this screw! If you need any help, e-mail FixMyKey@gmail.com.
