most probably because the computer lost its memory try to take it for a good 15-20 min ride should be ok.
The computer loses it's memory when it is disconnected from the battery for any amount of time. Part of this is the engine idle. The fastest way to "cure" this (takes about 5 mins) is to start it up and give it enough gas to keep it running. Then let off the gas so that it ALMOST stalls and give it a little more gas to keep it running. Repeat about 5-10 times (you will notice it improving). You will need to do this with the AC on and with it off as the idle requirements are different. This worked great in my standard transmission. In the automatic, it's possible you may need to also do the same while it is in the various gears. It's a FAST fix though!
changed battery in 2000 chrystler sebring and now will not idle
the battery dies, Belt replacement
The only thing you need to reset is the clock and radio station presets.
start your car and then disconnect the battery if it dies then it is your alternator that is what i am working on right now but good luck if it is the alt you have to drop the motor cradle
Buy a new battery or call someone to jump your battery
your alternator is gone, u need a new one. i know because if it runs for a bit then dies that means the alternator isn't charging the battery
check the power steering and check the battery
buy a new battery.
Viper car alarms 5002 how do you reset after remote battery dies?
The battery is worn out and needs ot be replaced depending on the mth warratny it has or the alternator is going out and is draining the battery . A simple check may be the battery cable . take the positive battery cable off while running as well if it dies it's the alternator .
The hazard lights get their power from the battery so if the battery is dead they will not work.
