Many Lexus cars are pre-owned and have good gas mileage. Lexus offers hybrids that have great gas mileage and that are pre-owned.
Yes, you have 2 options. First, mix in some lead substitute with any tank full of unleaded, available at most parts stores. Seond, you have to remove the cylinder head(s) and have a machine shop install hardened valve seats. Then, you can use all of the unleaded you want. The reason for this is that in the pre-unleaded days, the lead in gas served as a lubrication for the valve seats. When the wonderful EPA banned leaded gas, the lead-lubricant was gone. The car makers compensated for this by hardening the valve seats, making lead uneccasary. However, using unleaded in cars bult before about 1974 or so will result in fried valves/ valve job. I'm told that the notoriously bad valve life in old Volkswagon beetles was a direct result of unleaded gas being run in these engines.
This all depends on the compression of your cars pistons, If you have anything over 10 and you opt. for regular Unleaded you might get pre-ignition in your cylinders which will cause a "PINGING" or "KNOCKING" sound usually high-end cars call for higher octane gas. So unless your car calls for premium fuel stick to regular and save a few bucks.
Well, I am not sure where you can even get leaded fuel anymore, BUT even NASCAR went unleaded. the onl reason we used lead was to stop PRE IGN. and with technology of todays additives, they have done that as well with out lead. So YES unleaded is prefered in my thinking. Where are you able to get leaded fuel? in the USA? or are you in another country?

The V8 requires Unleaded premium (91 octane). Do not use any octane fuel below this or you may end up with engine damage from pre-detonation.
Carfax is a great service that gives you an honest report on pre-owned cars and their conditions. Also dealerships may be able to give you a history of pre-owned cars that you are interested in.
It means just before the 1970's.
"Pre owned cars are typically resold with the benefits of buying a new car, while only paying the price tag of a used car. Alot of times Pre-Owned cars are resold as Certified, and can be bought with a warranty."
Pre-owned cars value less because they were onced owned by someone as new cars have never been driven or leased by someone.
Pre-owned cars are cars that have been owned by someone else and are not new, also known as used cars. Many dealers may "certify" pre-owned cars, which guarantees that the dealer has inspected and repaired the car and certifies that it is in good condition.
Well, I would recommend purchasing pre-owned cars from Cars Direct because they offer a variety of vehicles for an incredibly reasonable price towards customers.
