10W30 can be used, but SAE30 is best. 10W30 can run a bit hot, in warmer climates.
That is a Kohler Command single cylinder, so 10W30 is the answer. It will run either, but the hydraulic lifters will be noisy
5w30 in the winter time 10w30 in the summer time Castroll GTX is a great oil to run.
Yes, if you live in an area where it never freezes. Otherwise use SAE 5w30.
what is the oil capacity for yamaha g2 colf cart
Was told a 93 Geo Metro with high miles should us 10W30.
Exactly the weight Mazda recommends which is SAE 10w30. Any major brand will be fine.
it depends on what the climate you may use a 10w30 in hotter weather and 5w30 in colder weather, or if you run your car heavily use a thinner weight of oil
if it's not the right kind, then YES. I'm pretty sure a 87 Bird takes 10W30
I would recommend 10w30 or 10w40 for higher milage engine. IF your under 10 degrees F then run a 0w30.
you can run gearsaver in the transmission or 10w30
In warm weather, these engines run fine on a high quality 15w40. In colder weather, you may get loping at start up with 15w40, so you can run 10w30 DIESEL RATED oil (not standard gas rated 10w30) or 5w40 synthetic. The most current API diesel rating is CJ-4. You won't go wrong with Motorcraft, Mobil, Chevron, or Shell as far as brands, as these oil brands all make oils that work well in this engine. The weight will depend on the temperature and how much you want to spend. 5w40 can be run year around.
