Right hand,

Here is A little known trick to getting it lose, First, bE careful: Put A wrench or socket on it, (do not use an extension), Make sure it is on really good, And against something that will not move like the body support. Get everyone away from the engine area just in case. Use the starter to turn the motor, The starter has the power to breah the bolt lose.

Do not I repeat DO NOT use the starter to break the crankshaft bolt loose on a 1.8L Honda engine or any engine in a Honda or Acura. The engine turns counter-clockwise and the bolt is right hand which will in turn tighten the bolt or break it which is not what you want. The info above is bad advice.

Are the threads left handed on a crankshaft pulley bolt for a 1996 Isuzu rodeo 3.2?

No they are right handed righty tighty, lefty Lucy threads. The bolt is in there pretty tight though so it can be hard to get out with hand tools. Most of the time when you pull on it hard enough to lossen it you will spin the motor before it comes loose. You will probably need an impact wrench or find some way to keep the motor from rolling over.
