You add fluid at the same place you check it.
I have had the timing belt go bad and the front axles. Other than that mostly have just put maintenence into the car. There is however a recall for windshield wipers and I did have those go bad but Nissan replaced them for free.
its not screwed in. Just pull it out as hard as you can.
loose or dirty terminals?
The 200sx se-r chassis is the same chassis as the 200sx se. I have a 96 se-r and the only difference between mine and an 200sx SE are suspension differences and the engine itself.
The '96 200sx has no fluid for the clutch. This car has a cable operated clutch that needs to be adjusted. If the cable breaks the clutch will not disengage. If the clutch is getting tight it will need lubed. If lubing the cable doesn't work a new cable is needed.
The owners manual for my 1995 200 SX SE-R indicates that timing "chain" does not need replacement. Unlike timing "belts" found on many cars which likely require replacement at 60,000 or 100,000 miles.
Change the PCV valve, it helps and or eliminates this. I have a 96 200sx ser change the PCV valve it helps or eliminates this problem. This helps also on 95-2000 sentras including the 2.0L
Metal piece was from the end of the clutch cable.
