∙ 15y agoIn order to determine that, you must multiply the length of attic (in feet) times width of attic (in feet). You will need about one square foot of ventilation for every 150 square feet that you have in your attic. Different exhaust fans provide different footage of coverage area. You will need to find one that has the most coverage so that you don't have to buy as many.
6 feet, 8 inches.
Yes because it will make it spin faster and faster and it will break
My home needs ventilation. What size attic fan would I need for a 1200 square foot house?
The area of 30 feet times 40 feet are 1200 square feet. But, when a house is advertised as containing 'xx square feet of living area', that can include second and third floors or a finished basement or attic, so a 30 X 40 house could be a 6000 square foot home.
The Federal Housing Administration recommends that you have at least one square foot of attic ventilation for every 300 feet of attic space. You can find out if you have enough by figuring out how many square feet you have in your attic and then figure out the lineal feet that your exhaust fan puts out.
18 feet ?I don`t think so, provided there is an attic for future fit out as living space.
At least 24 feet high, based on 8-foot ceilings. If the 3rd floor is built into the roof, the building will be shorter than if there is a separate attic under an angled roof.
There are many different styles of 2-story houses, but typically each story is about 10 feet, but could be a little less or quite a bit more. An attic above could add anywhere from 6 to 10 feet to the total height and a foundation wall or basement will usually add a few feet more. The absolute minimum, built on a slab with a flat roof and low ceilings, would be about 16 feet. Or if it were on a 3' foundation wall with high ceilings and a full attic, it could be 40 feet or more.
An attic ladder the size of 25inch X 47 inch X 9 feet can be expensive as $925.00 sold by Home Depot. The taller the attic ladder, the higher the price. However, not all attic ladders are expensive. There are much cheaper ladders ranging from $89.00 and up at hardware stores.
When you enter my house will you kindly wipe your feet on the mat provided and please shut the door after you to prevent the dog getting out.
