First of all, I hope that you won't be in a situation where you need that answer anytime soon! I'm no expert, but if I were in that position, I would quickly find a house or fenced backyard I could go into, or a tree I'm capable of climbing [one tall enough that the dog cant get up], and get call for help.

∙ 13y agoIf its a stray dog,usually ignoring it and going about your dog works if not pepper spray works really well.If its someone's dog the following think should help.
