Well when its bleeding at the time put your head forward and hold a tissue in front of it and squeeze it up the front where the bone stops near the tip of the nose and squeeze it shut don't push to hard. and make sure you keep your head forward wait ten minuets then check if it has stopped bleeding if it hasn't wait another ten etc. once it has stopped don't blow it for a while and don't squeeze it and i suggest you get it cauterized if the reason is because you have a popped blood vesil or go to the doctor and get some cream for it. or don't pick it if that's the reason hope this helps. i get them all the time i got one 5 minuets ago because i have a popped blood vesil my one isn't because i pick it. :(

Remember that people tend to freak out over blood dripping from the face, therefore people react strongly with a bloody nose, but the blood will/should clot and it should stop. Also, you should try to stop the bleed (inserting tissues - tightly into nostril, pressing the nose closed and facing up, etc...) As always, consult the emergency room if it seems out of the ordinary / strange / excessive bleeding.
