Unfortunately, there is mating time and this is usually when cats will spray on everything (also inside the house if you own one and they are not spayed or neutered.) If you go to your pet store they do have a special spray out that you can spray around the perimeter of your home. Other than this, there isn't much else you can do.
A stray cat may just be a cat which wanders outside all the time. A feral cat is a cat that isn't used to being around humans and may be terrified around them or violent. Stray cats usually aren't violent or terrified of people.
You can find hundreds at any animal shelter. Outside, stray moms have babies under porches or bushes, well protected from predators. If indoor, a mom picks a nesting site--often the box and blanket you provide.
outside in the cold
A stray animal.
== == * You could try the spray on repellents. These shouldn't hurt your boat or the cats. * If you can afford it buy a snug canopy for the boat, and if you can't afford that then use a tarp and be sure it's tied down tight around the outside of the boat. The other poster is correct, there are cat sprays at any pet store to help as well and it won't hurt the boat.
If you pet a stray cat, it will probably want more affection and follow you around, hoping for more petting.
You can find them at the Animal Samaritans, really anywhere...probably outside your house, maybe at the park.
It all depends on if its stray or trained.
Spray dog urine around the property.
If it has no collar, no ID tracking chip, looks malnourished, dirty, or otherwise neglected, it's probably a stray. Adopt it (leaving it outside, if weather conditions warrant) and bring it to a vet for an exam.
Ofcourse, if they're stray cats they live outside, but they must live inside because of the weather sometimes because they could get cold.
